1) Don't need Oscal 500 mg because it is calcium
2) Macrobid 100 mg 2x a day for 7 days for infection
3) Compazine 10 mg every 6 hours as needed for nausea
4) Lidoderm Patch 5% to lower back every 12 hours (9 am on / 9 pm off)

These were on list on discharge 10/1 and as modified thereafter by Rudnick
Medication
Allopurinol (Zyloprim) Tablet (same as at home) 100 MG by mouth daily special instructions: give with plenty of fluids. **RN to print food-drug interaction leaflet using care notes and educate patient.**
Prevacid 40 MG by mouth daily before lunch special instructions: Administer at least 30 minutes prior to Sucralfate. Do not chew or crush. RN may open capsule and empty contents into 1 tablespoonful of applesauce and have patient swallow. For NGT empty contents in 60 ML water-stir and poor down NGT.
Gabapentin (Neurontin) Capsule 100 MG by mouth every night at bedtime.
Levothyroxine (Synthroid) Tablet (same) 125 MCG by mouth every morning before eating.
Metroprolol (Toprol-(XL) XL Tablet 25 MG by mouth 2 times daily special instructions: Hold for SBP < 110 or HR < 55 Do not crush.
Potassium Chloride SA (K-Dur, Klor-Con Tablet 20 MEQ by mouth daily special instructions: swallow whole. Do not chew, divide, or crush.
